Two Simple Power Questions?
A conveyor belt lifts 215.0 t/h of ore through a height of 11m. What power is required?
I tried doing this one and got around 39.2kW, but I think that it is wrong
A conveyor belt is driven by a motor rated at 2210W. The coal is to be raised and deposited into a hopper 15.7m above. How many kilonewtons of coal can be delivered by this motor per minute?

"t/h" means what? I suspect t means tons, but which kind, there are at least 4 different definitions for ton.
please use only standard abbreviations, or write it out.
via email, t = metric ton, 1000 kg. h = hour? 1 hour = 3600s
P = mgh/t = 215000*9.8*11/3600s = 6438 watts

Operating Principle of Impact Crusher
The Impact Crusher consists of an encased rotor carrying swing hammers, whizzer classifier for fineness regulation, and Blower Fan mounted on a solid shaft. Raw material to be pulverised enters the crushing chamber through the hopper and automatic rotary feeder. The impact of the hammer on the feed material against the Liner plates reduces it into fine powder. The ground material is carried towards the whizzer classifier for classification and the over size particles are rejected by the classifier and returns to the crushing chamber for further grinding. The classified material is then conveyed into the cyclone for collection and bagging. A dust collector is provided in the system for ensuring dust Free operation and no loss of ground powder.
