It is sure to appeal to adults as well as to children.

The attention to detail is also outstanding. Silhouettes are visible in the car windows. There are interior lights in the cars that work as well as a working headlight. The whistle sounds extremely realistic. And, perhaps the most charming feature is the smoke fluid that can be added so the engine can puff out real smoke as it trundles along. Also included are figures based on characters from the movie version of the book.

The train set is easy to put together. You will want to bear in mind that it needs to charge first before it can run. It is easy to use by children eight and older, for whom it is especially made. The transformer features a control that is easy for kids to operate. Younger children will also enjoy playing with the train but will likely require some help from an adult.
