All of the "Polar Express" rides are usually run by Train Museums. They often run at night and is a ride on one of the Steam Trains that they run during the day. The train goes to the "North Pole" to pick up Santa Clause, who rides back to the depot. From there there is usually variations, such as a reading of the Polar Express, Christmas Carols and the like. Because of this the cost and length of time will vary, and the $35 is probably on the higher end but not totally out of the normal range.

Is it worth it? If you are going with someone in the 3-8 year range who really beleive in Santa Clause or loves the Polar Express it is worth it. If you are outside of this group then it might be something you want to skip.

The one-day event will be held on the Kingston commuter rail and four magical train rides are scheduled during the course of the day. The Boys and Girls Club has already sold 1,000 tickets and Train Ride 3 is sold out.

The Boys and Girls Club of Marshfield’s purpose is to establish a safe haven for recreation, which includes a variety of supervised activities for greater than 4,000 youth (between the ages of 6 to 18 years old) within the town.
